Since the dawn of the automobile, Manufactuerers have tied slogans to their models. When, in 1991 Mitsubishi launched their all new second generation Pajero, it came with the call to action: "Grip the Ground".


This slogan didn't see wide reach in advertising, but was used in many dealer sales sheets, including the Mitsubishi Pajero VHS tape and a line of apparel.
